My doctor didn’t believe anything could be wrong even when after two years of complaining about the constant diarrhoea.

Finally, after diagnosis, things moved very quickly.

Five-hour surgery, temporary stoma, portacath inserted in my chest and six months of chemotherapy.

After the ‘all clear’, the stoma was reversed.

I had great support from family and friends but most of all my husband was my rock, Mr Positivity.

It changed our lifestyle for the better.
